In the Midst of Feeding a Cow
"A snapshot"
Feeding the cows was awesome.
Roy was yelling instructions repeatedly. “Take a spoonful of grain and toss it under the cows collar,” Roy called.
The cows were taking each other’s food and I was trying to separate them so that they could all eat breakfast without having their food eaten. Nancy was doing the same thing on the other side.
“No, you already ate your own food,” we said to the cows.
When finally all the cows were fed, we went back to the front of the row only to find that the cows had licked up every last piece of grain.
